About Fireman 5K

The Mission

The mission of the event is to raise money for our county's CERT, which is a nonprofit disaster relief organization that helps EMS services when they are overwhelmed.

Fireman 5k 2023

Race day

On October 15th, 2023, 54 runners participated in the first annual Fireman 5K. Runners of all ages ran and walk for Lake County CERT an its first responder.

Impact

Through sponsorship and race fees, the first annual Fireman 5K managed to raise $1300 dollars for SLCR CERT so it can help protect the community

Fireman 5K 2024

Race Day

On December 15th 2024, runners of all ages gathered at Paulus Park to raise money for SLCR CERT. Despite the mist and rain, our runners helped us raise $800 for our local first responders
